research and training

Some gaps are great, a space for reflection and creativity. Other gaps are just a nuisance - we feel stuck, unable to move forward.

Both gaps need minding.

The first so that we can make the best use of creative space, the second so we can change a negative space into a positive one.

Mind the Gap works with participatory approaches to training, facilitation and research in:

Communities and Partnerships
Diversity, urban and rural regeneration, community training and capacity building, participatory appraisal, community cohesion, neighbourhood management, social landlords, local authorities and elected members.

Conflict Management
Environment and natural resources, gender and conflict, conflict analysis, collaboration and consensus-building. Skills, tools and training for overcoming negative aspects of conflict and developing the useful aspects.

Society and Environment
Biodiversity conservation, natural resources, protected areas, forestry, fisheries, wildlife and land management.

Personal Development, Leadership & Coaching
Working effectively and powerfully, with balance, clarity and calm. Our key aim is to support situations where positive change in ourselves as individuals and organisational change need to be addressed together.

We deliver training and facilitation with groups and individuals through bespoke training and coaching.

Mind the Gap clients include UK and multinational businesses, community-based organisations, local authorities, government agencies and departments, social landlords, voluntary and non-government organisations, research institutes and United Nations agencies.
