research and training

Some gaps are great - a space for reflection and creativity. Other gaps are just a nuisance - we feel stuck, unable to move forward.

Both gaps need minding, so that we can make best use of our creativity, work out how to become "unstuck" and move forward positively.

Mind the Gap is a trusted training and research organisation working with groups and individuals through bespoke programmes, courses and coaching. We have wide international experience in evaluation and facilitation

Mind the Gap clients include UK and multinational businesses, community-based groups, local authorities, governments, social landlords, non-government organisations, research institutes, Central Banks, the European Union and the United Nations.

Mind the Gap's training, facilitation and evaluation covers four areas:

Communities and Partnerships
Community training and confidence building, regeneration, participatory appraisal, computer and IT skills, diversity, community cohesion, neighbourhood management, social landlords, local authorities and elected members.

Conflict Management
Environment and natural resources, gender and conflict, conflict analysis, collaboration and consensus-building. Skills, tools and training for overcoming negative aspects of conflict and developing the useful aspects.

Leadership and Personal Development
Coaching, training, mentoring; working effectively, with balance, clarity and calm, where organisational change and change in ourselves as individuals need to be addressed together.

Society and Environment
