We design and facilitate meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops; and long-term conflict management or change management programmes. These can often be complex, with many stakeholders whose trust and positive engagement must be ensured. We create a positive, open environment, with activities to ensure that people can express their views, locate resources, manage risk, and agree on actions that can actually be achieved.
We are experienced international facilitators in multicultural, multilingual environments where unalike groups have different needs and interests. This might include diverse training situations in community, field or office environments, facilitating sensitive organisational issues with leaders and managers, or large group work (±700 people) using ‘Open Space’ or other methods.
Our facilitation often involves cross-agency collaboration, team building, and working alongside local and international agencies. We have facilitated complex international workshops including multi-year European Union research collaborations; strategic partnerships among government, business and community groups; and multi-stakeholder partnerships that aim resolve challenging natural resource conflicts in different parts of the world. We are also comfortable facilitating in situations of extreme humanitarian crisis, post-conflict and peacekeeping where people are seeking clear, safe ways forward.
