Peter Glaves
Peter has worked for 20 years with community groups, government agencies and businesses on
environmental, economic and social issues. His background is in community based initiatives in
urban regeneration and rural development, working with local communities and on
large spatial planning projects.
Peter has worked as a teacher and professional trainer
for over 20 years. He has worked internationally on a wide range of projects from inner
city regeneration in London to community empowerment in Ghana, from establishment of
regional parks in the English midlands to training State land administrators in China. He is
a part-time university lecturer in environmental management and a professional trainer in
corporate responsibility, environmental auditing, sustainability and public participation.

BSc - Applied Biology, Bradford University, 1985
PhD - Environmental Management, University of Derby, 1992
PGCE – University of Greenwich, 1995
International work includes:
China, Ghana, Brazil, Rumania, Ukraine, Poland, Ireland, USA.
