Scott Jones

Scott works with individuals, businesses, governments, communities, non-government and UN agencies in the UK and internationally, helping people address change safely and effectively. He has worked as a nurse practitioner and manager in Europe, as a volunteer nurse and development worker in Ethiopian and Sudanese famines, and as a pilot after receiving a Royal Air Force scholarship.  Scott designed and managed a 4-year community development project in post-conflict Eritrea, on secondment to Eritrea from a faculty post at Oregon State University’s College of Forestry. Since 1995 he has worked as Reader and research coordinator at the Centre for International Development and Training, and as a neighbourhood management officer in Staffordshire, UK. He established Mind the Gap in 2005.
